Vernac
Delete your account.
We’d rather you stay, but your data is yours — and leaving should be as easy as arriving.
What gets deleted
- Your Vernac account and sign-in record
- Profile details, onboarding answers, goals, interests, and preferences
- Saved words, collections, learning queue, progress, and review history
- Practice answers, generated examples, context hooks, and personalisation data tied to your account
- Community posts, Word of the Day responses, notification tokens, and device/session identifiers tied to your account
We may retain limited records where required by law, security obligations, or app-store purchase providers. This cannot be undone. Words you’ve learned, unfortunately, stay in your head.
A note on subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a Vernac Pro subscription — those are managed by Apple or Google. Cancel first in your App Store or Play Store subscription settings, or you may continue to be billed.
Changed your mind?
If you just want a break, you can simply log out or turn off notifications. Your streak freezes will miss you, but they’ll wait.
